Flipgrid is simple. Engage and empower every voice in your classroom or community by recording and sharing short, awesome videos … together!
As part of the Syracuse University use of Microsoft 360, faculty, staff, and students have full access to use Flipgrid.
Follow these steps to be able to get up and running!
How to get started:
Go to Flipgrid.com
If it is your first time – select Educator Signup
- If you have been here before or after you sign-up, click on Educator Log-in
Select Sign up with Microsoft – you will log in with your Syracuse email and password.
Once you are in Flipgrid, you will select 
- You can name it specifically for what class you will be using it for.
- Pick if you want it Public or specific to SU.
- Lastly, you can add your own tag at the end of the grid URL to identify it as your grid and make it easier for students to find.
Enter in the @syr.edu email extension if you selected the School Domain option.
You can copy and paste this link into Blackboard or your site to give access to the whole grid at any time for your students or if you want to embed it, there is a </> code for you to use.
You have now created your class Grid! In this grid, you will be able to create different video discussions or Topics for students to participate in.
